Pageflakes

http://www.pageflakes.com/wendelll/

Similar to many other internet sites, pageflakes is a good way to have your favorite internet sites accessible at the click of the mouse. In my case, I am covering the difficulties in gender and athletics and sports psychology. As a whole, my pageflakes covers the various sites where one could find a large range of different types of gender and athletic issues and news.

The first thing to see are the 10 different RSS fees that all relate to the issues on gender in athletics and sports psychology. Several feeds cover the importance of structuring athletes at a very young age. The importance of sportsmanship, hard work, and determination often appear as headlines and latest news. Others are often opinionated websites that just cover the recent news in the world and in sports. The last couple few deal with the issue of sports psychology. Most try to give advice everyday on how to be a better athlete and how to deal with the pressures of being an athlete. As an athlete, a majority of these articles help with the everyday stresses and complications in athletics.

The next two flakes that are present are the search flakes. These flakes refresh everyday with current news in the same field. One search system is called the Universal Blog Search in which blogs under the same field are found everyday. In that search engine, sports psychology was entered so there are blogs related to this subject everyday around the world. The next box is the Universal News Search in which current news is updated everyday also. In this box, I entered gender and sports, so both are covered in recent news. For example, the recent brawl between the Los Angeles Sparks and the Detroit Shock is a headline that asks if the perception of the female athlete is changing which has been an issue since women began playing sports.

And lastly is my bibliography of my search for journals and books that are related to my subject. All of the research was found in the USC search system that provided me with scholarly journals and books. It is also an annotated bibliography which gives the reader a brief description of each document that I found.
